Dan Wetzel of ESPN explains how U-M blew up a plan to bring $2.4 billion into the Big Ten while ML bemoans the state of college sports … again.

ML leaves the crew in limbo while gacking on his drive to the studio, an unpleasant experience involving a reflux condition that Shawn thinks is fit for public consumption, while Dan waits to fill us in on the latest get rich quick scheme involving college football. Here’s what Dan told his ESPN audience.

Marc asks Dan to tell us what U-M and USC have in common that may be keeping them from signing a $2.4 billion deal with a private capital firm that wants to buy into college football with a lucrative 20-year deal.

Private capital sounds a lot like private equity to ML, who has some pretty strong feelings about how these entities have impacted America.

Dan says the U-M-OSU football game is worth a QUARTER BILLION DOLLARS on its own. Then he offers some sage dating advice.

ML – once again – fights for the “non-revenue” sports. He is – once again – beaten down by Marc, Shawn and Dan.
