A reporter who scrutinized Hunter Biden’s laptop data joins ML, Marc and Shawn as they untangle the twisted tale of the First Son’s device while Joe safeguards his own computer.

THE STRAIGHT DOPE: Craig Timberg was part of the Washington Post team that scrutinized the data pulled from Hunter Biden’s laptop. He details the Post’s efforts to obtain and verify the data.

ML draws comparisons between the Post’s efforts to verify what they found with the Free Press’ efforts to confirm the authenticity of Kwame Kilpatrick’s text messages.

Not everything found in the laptop data was put there by Hunter. Craig discusses who else left fingerprints.

ML and Marc try to get Craig to discuss what the Post could NOT verify. Listen and learn whether he spills the beans.

Did the Post catch Hunter and President Biden in a lie? ML thinks so. What was it — and what does Craig think?

Marc blames Twitter. ML, channeling Shawn, sees both sides.

Marc wonders why sources share info with certain media outlets instead of blasting everyone with it. ML offers an illustrative anecdote.

Shawn found a new British show he likes. A fulsome discussion ensues.

GEEK OF THE WEEK: This week’s geek imagined all kinds of fraud in the 2020 elections here in Michigan, only to have her 2022 campaign for office here in Michigan derailed after she committed an election fraud.

ROOM 7609: ML got a New Order to feature a true New Wave band this week, so he booked Bad Lieutenant to play “Sink or Swim.”

FEEDBACK: Rob Parker draws fire and a recent 60 Minutes episode provokes a dynamic debate.
