Kwame Kilpatrick says he’s changed, so ML and Marc ask an expert before discussing ML’s return to Fox 2, while Shawn deflects and Joe reflects.

STRAIGHT DOPE: Kwame Kilpatrick told a judge he is a new man, so we seek the opinion of Mark Chutkow, the lead prosecutor in the racketeering case that sent Hizzoner away for 28 years.

Mark read all of Kilpatrick’s text messages. Hear what he learned – and whether they included any mention of a party at a certain mansion.

Kilpatrick told a judge he took responsibility for his deeds. Tune in and hear him contradict himself in his own words, and what the judge had to say about it.

Mark says the feds pretty much let Kilpatrick travel whenever and wherever he wants, prompting ML to share his theory about why Hizzoner wants Uncle Sam off his back.

Kilpatrick owes a lot of restitution. ML and Mark discuss who he owes, who he’s paid and where the money is coming from, while Marc questions why he isn’t required to pay more each month.

You can’t talk about Kilpatrick without referencing his suits: from lawsuits, to tailored suits. Mark and ML share some of their favorite anecdotes.

A judge’s ruling prompted Fox 2 to turn to ML once again for his, er, wisdom. Watch the story here.

ML invites listeners to join him at a VIP whiskey tasting event. All you have to do is make a contribution by Feb. 9 to help the children of Detroit using this link.
